The Broadway musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat brings
local appeal to The University of Akron's E.J. Thomas Hall as the Miller
South School Choir takes the stage during the 5-show run,=20

Oct. 28-Oct. 30.

=20

A Visual and Performing Arts School in Akron, Miller South's 25-member
choir will sing nearly all of the songs with the cast under the musical
direction of Sarah Kaufman. As the opening to the second act, the choir
takes the spotlight as they sing the "Entracte." Amy Adams, the narrator
of the show, tells Joseph's amazing story to a group of kids, the Miller
South Choir, who interact with her and the rest of the cast by reacting
to the story that unfolds before their eyes.

=20

The Miller South Choir is no stranger to the stage. Prior to this show,
they performed for Joseph at E.J. Thomas Hall and at the Palace Theater
in Cleveland with Sam Harris, Deborah Gibson and the Osmond family. The
choir has also performed with the likes of John Tesh, Judy Collins, The
Rockettes, the Bare Naked Ladies and the Vienna Boys Choir.
