Take a great play, a young, enthusiastic and talented cast, let them =
loose on a big ranch in Texas in the 1880's and you have the setting for =
CVLT's young adult production of William Shakespeare's Taming of the =
Shrew.

No need for Cliff Notes or searching Google for an explanation to this =
production. This one is filled with cowboys, ranchers, river gamblers =
and fillies. Even the most Shakespeare-challenged among us will relish =
the tribute to western favorites such as Bonanza, Maverick and Rawhide.

While the story may be familiar, the interpretation is fresh and the =
actor's passion for the setting - and the production - is as contagious =
as gold fever. We'll leave it to you to determine if Petruchio tames the =
tempestuous Kate or if indeed, Kate isn't the best poker player at the =
table.
