Room for rent in Astoria -- NYC -- just passing along the info
_____
Subject: apt room for rent in Astoria
To folks needing a place in NYC:
my friend is looking for a roomate to help him finish out his lease in
Astoria, until May 1st, if anyone is in need, please read on! cheers,
Teresa K. Pond ('04)
Room in 2 bedroom apartment in Astoria. Lease is up at the end of April at
which time I have first dibs on renewal/signing a new lease. I will most
probably be looking for a studio on my own starting May 1st somewhere else,
unless through some good fortune my new roommate and I like living together
(which would be nice since my rent would stay reasonable). It's also
reasonable to assume that my landlord, rather than lose a month's rent will
let the other person staying here have second crack at staying here past
April if I do leave, but that's not confirmed. The apartment is virtually
empty now so any furniture a roomie wants to bring in is fine with me.
Internet access and a computer is still available to the roomie so long as
I'm here until May. There is one large bedroom with a closet that would be
$700 a month. OR a small bedroom with no closet for $550. Utilities I
would cover. I'm currently in the bigger room, but like I said, there's
nothing in here. It's a large yoga studio basically and I could easily move
my mattress and 2 shelves to the smaller room. Looking for someone to move
in November first or soon thereafter (if mid-month, then rent for November
would be half). Nice place, 2nd Floor, Quiet Safe neighborhood. Looking
for a quiet and clean person, but not necessarily a hermit like me. Just
not a kid either who's going to fall in drunk every other night.
please contact Matthew Wright at menglishphile at gmail.com, if you are
interested (contact him directly, not to me!).
