Clay MonoPrints Workshop with Mitch Lyons

Get ready to use clay in a very different way with visiting artist Mitch =
Lyons. Learn an innovative technique for creating monoprints with clay, =
clay slips, paper and applied colors. After printmaking, handbuild a =
piece for firing in the kiln.  In addition to the workshop Mitch Lyons =
will present a slide presentation and demonstrate various techniques =
that he has been pioneering since 1968.

Mitch Lyons, who lives in New London, PA., has developed an =
international reputation with pieces in Museum exhibitions and private =
collections.

What: Weekend Workshop at Art House

When: November 13-14, 2004 . 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Cost: $165 (AH SEAN Members - $155)

1 Graduate Credit available through Ashland University for an additional =
$153.  Includes all materials and 1 kiln firing, limited to the first 12 =
paid artists.  Space is still available!
