Rehearsals: Will begin in early February

Audition Preparation: Please prepare one brief vocal selection. Bring sheet
music in your key....an accompanist will be provided. There is no need to dress
for movement as the dance call will be part of callbacks.

Callbacks: Date yet to be announced. Will happen pre-11/15

Staff for this Production: Director--Scott Spence, Musical Director--Larry
Goodpaster, Choreographer--Martin Cespedes, Stage Manager--
Diana D'Allesandro, Set Design--Don McBride, Lighting Design-- Trad
Burns, Sound Design--Richard Ingraham, Costume Design--Alison Garrigan

Roles: All Roles are open, none have been pre-cast. This musical requires a
very specific breed of actor, especially the men. Many of these men are steel
workers--real working slobs. Everymen. We are looking for just plain ordinary
guys. For the most part, the age ranges are 20 and over....many 30 and over.
"The Full Monty" is truly a play with music. While vocal prowess is a definite
plus, much recognition will be given to the actor who can sing, rather than the
other way around. Just as they are real people, they are real voices. A
partial listing of roles follows:
Jerry Lukowski (30-40) , an unemployed mill worker
Nathan Lukowski (11-14), his young son

Pam Lukowski (30-35), his estranged wife
Teddy Slaughter (35-45), her live-in boyfriend

Dave Bukatinsky (30-40), a plus-sized unemployed mill worker
Georgie Bukatinski (26-34), his wife

Harold Nichols (40-50), an unemployed supervisor at the mill
Vicki Nichols (35-45), his wife

Malcolm McGregor (22-32), an unemployed mill worker
Molly McGregor (50-65), his ailing mother

Ethan Girard (25-35), an unemployed mill worker

Noah (Horse) T. Simmons (40-55), an African-American retired
                                                                mill worker

Jeanette A. Burmeister (50-70), a piano player who's seen it all
Buddy (Keno) Walsh (25-30) , a male stripper in near-perfect shape
Reg Willoughby (25-45), an unemployed mill worker
Tony Giordano (35-55), A Buffalo club owner
Estelle Genovese (23-33), Jerry's ocassional girlfriend
Susan Hershey (25-35), a friend of Pam and Georgie's
Joanie Lish (25-35), another friend of Pam and Georgie's
  ......and others as well!

The Nudity: Keno, the stripper, needs to be totally confortable onstage in
little more than a g-string. The stripping mill workers DO go Full Monty, but it
will be lit in such a way that we think we see more than we do. That said,
these 6 characters MUST be comfortable with themselves as they do prep routines
thru-out the show and are in various states of undress. But again... these
MUST be average looking gents!

Compensation All actors 18 and over are compensated for their participation.
It is anticipated that two (2) AEA contracts will be available.

Please Note: If you are completely unavailable for either of these 2 audition
dates, please let us know as there may be an alternative time for those with
initial conflicts. Please respond to this e-mail with any questions.
