We are 2 women with performance experience, beautiful voices, and lots of heart who are forming a musical group to perform haunting melodies from a variety of genres including older folk (Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, James Taylor, others); newer softer rock ballads (Sarah McLaughlin, Natalie Merchant, Eva Cassidy, etc.); some show tunes (from Wicked, others); torch songs (Billy Holiday, Duke Ellington); and maybe some original tunes and original arrangements to more traditional songs.
 
We are primarily looking for a lead guitar player (acoustic or more acoustic-like) but also want to find a cellist, string bass, percussion and are open to other types of instruments (violin, flute, oboe, whatever). We would like musicians who can pick out instrumental lines and are creative and willing to experiment. Please know that this will NOT be a loud rock group so if that is what you are looking for, this isn't it!
 
We are both busy people so this is a part-time endeavor and we aren't sure of our performance options at this time but are open to ideas.
