Karamu Performing Arts Theatre will pay tribute to one of America's =
greatest playwrights, the late August Wilson. The tribute will be a =
stage reading series of his award- winning plays that took the theatre =
world by storm with an unflinching poetic view on Black American life =
through his ten play, decade by decade cycle. The title will be "August =
Wilson-Thon Series: Voices of a Century!" It will run December through =
April (Dates and Times TBA), two Saturdays in each month.=20
There will be post- discussions with the directors, the actors and guest =
artist who have worked with August Wilson such as actress Lisa Langford =
(Off B'dway's "Stonewall Jackson's House, Pittsburgh Public Theatre's =
"Seven Guitars," Karamu's "Split Second") and director Caroline =
