            Lakewood, Ohio - The Beck Center Children's Choir presents
Holiday Harmonies on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. at the Rocky
River United Methodist Church.  This holiday choral concert is free and
open to the public.

The Be ck Center Children's Choir Program offers young people the
opportunity to develop healthy vocal techniques, music reading and
listening skills, as well as a sense of pride and self confidence.
There are five choirs available for every level with auditions scheduled
through the year:

*        Primary Music Makers (K and Grade 1)

*        Intermediate Choir (Grades 2 and 3)

*        Performing Choir Level I (Grades 4 through 8)

*        Performing Choir Level II (Grades 5 through 8)

*        Chamber Choir (Grades 6 through 9)

Choir Director, Kathleen Bassett, received her Bachelor of Music from
Butler University and her Master of Music from Cleveland State
University.  She has taken Levels courses in Kodaly and Orff and was the
former Children's Choir Director of Parma-South Presbyterian Church.  In
addition to her role as the Beck Center Children's Choir Director,
Bassett is also an elementary music teacher.

            Holiday Harmonies is free and open to the public (a goodwill
offering will be accepted at intermission).  For more information about
the concert or the choir program contact the Beck Center's Music
Department at (216) 228-2800.  Rocky River United Methodist Church is
located at 19414 Detroit Road in Rocky River.
