Lakewood, Ohio - The Beck Center for the Arts invites you to enjoy
"Popular Favorites" by Bach, Chopin, Holst, Rossini and Tarrega
performed by the Beck Center Music Faculty during a free recital on
Sunday, November 13, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. in the Music-Armory Building.

The Beck Center for the Arts is a non-profit, comprehensive cultural and
performing arts organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life
for northeastern Ohioans.  We view our unique role as one of creating an
audience for tomorrow's art.  We combine professional theatrical
productions with curriculum-based education in dance, music, theater and
visual arts.  The staff and faculty at the Beck Center for the Arts
believe that a quality arts education can be provided to all people
regardless of age or ability.  We are committed to offering
comprehensive, curriculum-based programs in the areas of dance, music,
theater and visual arts.  All classes are led by experienced and trained
professionals who encourage each and every student to stretch to his or
her artistic potential. =20

The Music School offers private lessons in voice, piano and all
orchestral and band instruments.  The Beck Center Music Conservatory
offers an opportunity for exceptional students to increase their level
of education and prepare them for acceptance to the finest colleges and
universities in the country.  It is a unique and intensive course of
study that offers college preparatory instruction, as well as
performance opportunities.  In addition, the Music School offers classes
in voice, theory, early childhood music, Suzuki violin, and Dalcroze
Eurhythmics.  The children's choir program includes five separate choirs
involving over 200 students from kindergarten through 9th grade. =20

This free faculty recital is scheduled for Sunday, November 13 at 3:30
p.m. in the Music-Armory Building on the Beck Center campus.  For more

College, Morris, NJ; B.A. Music (guitar), Baldwin Wallace College.
Performs in Cleveland as soloist and with wife, Karen (clarinet), under
duo name "Sunday in the Park." Member Guitar Foundation of America.
Board member Greater Cleveland Classical Guitar Society.

Music. Performs regularly in opera and with orchestra/instrumental
groups.  Associate artist with Cleveland Opera on Tour.  Studied in
Italy and Austria. Teaching experience with all ages.  Studies with Mary
Schiller.

Peabody Conservatory, Johns Hopkins University; B.M. Music Performance
and Music Education certification, University of Akron. Taught music in
Cleveland municipal schools, strings artist in residence at Cleveland
School of the Arts.   Previous principal violist of Cleveland Chamber
Symphony. Currently string specialist at Lakewood High School and member
