special "Tricks of the Trade: Craft, Career and Professional Development"
Sessions,

Mondays, November 21st & 28th, & December 5th & 12th.

. Mon. 11/21: "Tricks of the Trade: Audition Techniques for Stage and
On-camera"
There's a difference between acting techniques on stage and on-camera. This
session will show you how to adapt your stage skills to be successful for
on-camera auditions and jobs.
Learn the Do's & Don'ts of audition techniques. You will learn how auditions
work, how to prepare for them, and where to find them. Be prepared for the
different scenarios: Monologues vs. Reading from the Script. Monologues,
commercial, film & industrial scripts. Get feedback on how you look, speak & act
on-stage & on- camera.

. Mon. 11/28: "Tricks of the Trade: On-camera Skills and Monologues"
Practice on-camera skills with commercial, film & industrial copy. See
yourself as talent agents, producers, clients & casting agents see you. Learn how
your facial expressions, gestures/mannerisms, body language/movement & voice
project on-camera. Enhance the way you look, speak & act to get work.

. Mon. 12/5: "Tricks of the Trade: Voiceover Skills, Diction, Dialogue and
Speaking Techniques for Performing Artists"
Hear how you sound to listeners. Are you clear, articulate & interesting?
Do you 'Swallow' your words? Have you been called a 'Mush Mouth?' Have you
been asked to 'Slow down?' Professional voiceover talent & public speakers pay
attention to the details - pacing, "t's, d's, & ings," etc. Learn to play
with language and your voice: enunciation, articulation, intonation, inflection,
and more, to give your characters & performances more flavor. Great session
for singers & comedians, too.

. Mon. 12/12: "Tricks of the Trade: Creating Your Voiceover Demo in Content &
 Format"
Great voiceover talent uses multiple basic 'actors' tools' to get & keep the
listener's attention, sell the product, and solve the problem. Design your
Commercial, Industrial, PSA's, Story Telling & Narration copy which require
unique voiceover abilities. Find out why creating a demo and voiceover work
aren't easy as they look.

. Workshop Fees: $20.00, each session. (November & December, only)
. Private Coaching: $30.00, each session. (November & December, only)
  Credit Cards are accepted.
