Kent and Northeastern Ohio have a rich history in music. Names that we are
familiar with, Joe Walsh, Chrissy Hynde, Devo, Glass Harp, 15-60-75 (the
numbers band), Alex Bevin, Dink, and that is just a fraction of the bands
that played in this area.

Standing Rock Cultural Arts in cooperation with The Kent Stage will be
bringing to The Kent Stage a concert series called =B3Kent=B9s Home Grown
Music.=B2 It will feature musicians that have been playing music in and aroun=
d
Kent since the 1960=B9s.  Some of you will be familiar with some of the
artists and some will be new to you. One thing that you can count on is an
evening of wonderful music and a sense of being part of history.

The kick off concert will be at 8 o=B9clock in the evening at The Kent Stage,
175 E. Main St. downtown Kent on December 9th, 2005 tickets will be $8. The
first show will feature Guy Pernetti, John Reynolds, Jack Delasandro, Rio
Neon and friends. Each a joy as a solo performer but together, you will jus=
t
have to see for yourselves. So mark your calendars for December 9th, 2005
for the =8CKent=B9s Home Grown Music=B2 concert series. This will be a night of
music for the whole family that you don=B9t want to miss.
