"Best of the Beck" Stand-Up Comedy Show

Lakewood, OH - The Beck Center for the Arts will host the "Best of the
Beck" Stand-Up Comedy Show - featuring past graduates of the Beck
Center's annual Comedy Class, along with comics from the Cleveland
Comedy Kitchen on Friday, December 9th at 9:00 p.m.  Doors open at 8:30
p.m.

The evening will be hosted by comedian and Comedy Class instructor, John
David Sidley.  Sidley is the founder of The Cleveland Comedy Kitchen, a
group of comedians who perform to raise money for hunger assistance.
Special guest performers will include comics Rodney Bengston, Al Hohf
and Mike Scanlon.

This very funny show will take place in the Music-Armory Building
located in the rear of the Beck Center campus. Admission is just $5 per
person with cash bar and snacks available.  Seating is limited and
reservations are recommended.  For reservations, call the Beck Center

Center for the Arts is located just ten minutes west of downtown
Cleveland at 17801 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood.

About the Comedy Class

The Beck Center's eight week Comedy Class begins in February.
Participants learn how to write and deliver their own comedy routine and
explore the art of making people laugh.  Whether an actor, salesperson
or future comedian, participants benefit from learning skills that
connect them to people in a whole new way.
