Date of survey for market study information is needed for A Place For Us
Development, Inc. at "Park District" West 9th in Warehouse District.
We have extended the date until end of 2005 for the survey. Please visit

At this time, we are marketing for this one-of-its-kind project in the
nation. The design and plans are to serve a multigenerational community. Our
desire is to have a self-contained community that will include on-site health care
and social services, educational programming, cultural outreach and retail.
This project will be open to all; therefore, we are inviting all those who
are supportive of such diversity. Yet, it is within our mission to sell at
least 50% of the units to the glbt community. We are hoping for a formation
of residential assocation. This association would take ownership of the
facility. We feel it is important for the major decision policies and management
be controlled by the residential community glbt members. No longer do we
want to be excluded in making our long-term decisions and care.
A Place For Us Development, Inc., a non-profit gay, lesbian, bisexual and
transgender organization, whose mission for the past eight years has been to
provide a planned community with various services ranging from health care,
cultural, spiritual, social and educational, proudly announces the unanimous
vote of its board members to join efforts with Marous Development in
developing a housing project designed and dedicated to multigenerational gay,
lesbian, bisexual, transgender individuals and inclusive of all those supportive of
such diversity.
Our immediate goal is to market and sell these condominium units (a 15-year
tax abatement) to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered individuals and
to those of the wider community. The proposed site is located in the
Warehouse District of downtown Cleveland, on West 9th Street between the 250 unit
National Terminal Building to the north and the newly renovated 340 unit Bingham
Building to the South.
