Players Guild Adult-Only Christmas

            Canton, Ohio- Nov. 2005 - What's more fun and festive than a
pitcher of candy cane-flavored Daiquiris?  An evening of rollicking,
irreverent holiday humor courtesy of David Sedaris!  The NPR
commentator, author and humorist strikes gold with two one-act plays,
Santaland Diaries and Season's Greetings.  Santaland features a sordid
(and sometimes just plain silly) behind-the-scenes peek at working for
Santa at the Macy's NYC department store.  Your guide is a world-weary,
jaded "Elf" (David Sponhour).  You'll never look at "The Big Guy's" mall
display the same way again! "Season's Greetings" introduces you to a on
the surface picture-perfect suburban Mom, (Denise Robb) as she shares
the family's annual brag-fest report aka the Holiday Newsletter.  It's
"shock-full" of fun and surprises! Take a break from shopping among the
hordes, overdosing on sugar plums and fa-la-la's!  Treat yourself to
this delightful, adults-only evening of naughty wit not to be missed! 
The Players Guild Theatre's presentation of David's Sedaris's Santaland
Diaries and Season Greetings  begins December 5th -7th, and 12th -14th
in the Arena Theatre. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday performances begin
at 8 :00 p.m. and all Tickets are $10.00 general admissision at the
door.  
The Players Guild production of Santaland Diaries and Season Greetings
is sponsored by Canton Repository, and Aultman Hospital.  All Players
