TRI-C West announces auditions for

As It Is In Heaven, a play with music by Irene Hutton, directed by Clyde
Simon.
Production dates are Feb. 25-26 and March 1-5, 2006.

Audition times:
Sunday December 4th 6:30-9:30 pm  In the Tri-C West Dance Studio
Monday December 5th 7-10 pm in the Tri-C West Theatre
Callbacks are on Wednesday December 6th 7-10 pm in the Tri-C West
Theatre

Tri-C West is located at:=20
11000 Pleasant Valley Rd.
Parma, OH  44130

Need are Nine female roles.  Characters range in age from 16 to 60's.
The play takes place in a Shaker villiage around 1838.  The roles are as
follows:

Peggy:  The cook.  Meek, trustful.
Hannah:  An eldress.  Tries to be kind.
Phebe:  A deaconess.  Seeks righteousness
Betsy:  A deaconess.  The peace maker, but also a gossip.
Rachel:  A longtime Shaker.  Pure in heart.
Izzy:  The youngest.  Raised with Shakers
Fanny:  A newcomer.  Independent.
Polly:  A newcomer.  Needy, bitter.
Jane:  A newcomer.  Mournful.

All characters sing, usually as a group, in unison and a capella.  Peggy
has a few solos, Polly has two very short solos, and Betsy has a duet
with Peggy.  All will be involved in choreographed movement / dance.

Looking for strong actors who can confindently carry a tune and who move
well.

Auditions will consist of reading from the script, singing a song taught
at the audition, and movement also learned at the audition.  Audition
monologues are NOT required, but will be heard.  Prepared audition songs
will not.  Headshots are not required, but if you have them, please
bring them.
