This immensely moving, profound and funny play about love and marriage centers around a family's struggle to cope with and raise their only child, the title character, a severely handicapped girl with whom they cannot communicate. The play, in its wonderfully theatrical style, also explores the well-meaning friends and family in their response to the handicapped daughter and the parents who love and nurture her. It is a scorching, unruly and darkly comic dramatization of the effect of tragedy on a marriage and it breached several taboos in the late 1960's. A successful recent Broadway revival starred British comedian and actor Eddie Izzard.

The Tour Schedule is as follows (all performances are at 8:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted, and are free admission). Post-show discussions will take place after the November 18, December 2 and 9 performances.
