Rabbit Run Community Arts Association will conduct auditions for the =
first production of Rabbit Run Theater's 2006 season, "Born Yesterday".  =
The auditions will be Mon., Dec. 19, and Tues., Dec. 20, at 7:00 p.m. =
both nights in the Recital Hall at the RRCAA fine arts building, 49 Park =
St., Madison.

Actors will read from the script and no prepared monologue is required.  =
No appointment is necessary, and actors are asked to arrive early in the =
evening.  The show includes roles for 4 women and 11 men, ages 18 - 65.  =
The director for the show is Janet Shank, and performance dates are June =
2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17, 2006.  Rehearsals will begin =
approximately in mid-April.

"Born Yesterday" tells the story of vulgar, egotistic businessman Harry =
Brock who travels to Washington, D.C., in 1946 to wheel and deal with =
government big-wigs.  His charming but dumb girlfriend, Billie, proves =
to be an embarrassment to him, so he hires Paul Verrall to teach her =
much-needed social skills.  Paul and Billie fall in love, and the fun =
begins.  "Born Yesterday" is a sharp, clever comedy and enjoyed one of =
the longest runs in Broadway history.
