Dick Blake, award-winning Master Dance Teacher and long time BCA instructor, will offer two dance classes in January. American Ballroom Dance class will feature instruction in swing, jitterbug and foxtrot. The 4 classes are 45 minutes in length and run from Sunday January 8 – January 29 from 4 – 4:45 pm. On Sunday January 8, Dick will also teach a Pre-wedding dance and etiquette class from 5 – 6 pm.
Dick Blake's career began as choreographer and teacher for the Arthur Murray School. Since then he has performed on local and national television programs as well as at the Thunderbird Casino in Las Vegas. Prior to becoming a teacher exclusively in the Ohio area, he was Master Teacher at Grossinger's Resort and has been teacher to hundreds of movie, television and sports stars. Mr. Blake teaches students of all ages; from local school children and debutantes to West Point Cadettes and has choreographed the Cleveland Cavalier cheerleaders.
Brecksville Center for the Arts is a 501C3 organization offering classes and programs in the fine, applied and performing arts. We are open to all Ohio residents.
