CPT's Big [BOX] 06 opens with

Mr. Lewis Rules:

Stories from the Juvenile Justice System

Stories and Performance by Myron J. Lewis

Conceived, Co-authored and Directed by Jacqi Loewy

Cleveland Public Theatre's Big [BOX] Series supports local artists working
in theatre, dance and multi-media. Every week for five weeks we give the
keys to the Levin Theatre to either a solo artist or collaborative group of
artists and we let them create. It's proven to be a very exciting
experience for our artists and our audiences. You never know what is going
to happen. And it has been a great way for us to identify new work for
future development (4 Minutes to Happy, Charge!, Mo Pas Connin) and new
artists to welcome into the CPT family (InLet Dance, Ryan Lott). Here's
who's in the Big [BOX] this week:

January 6-8

Mr. Lewis Rules: Stories From The Juvenile Justice System
Stories and Performance by Myron J. Lewis
Conceived, Co-authored and Directed by Jacqi Loewy
Myron Lewis, an actor/drug/alcohol counselor and ex-probation officer with
the Summit County Juvenile Court, relives his journeys with the troubled
kids he was able to save as well as those he wasn't. During the hour of
stories infused with Lewis' distinctive humor, honesty and take-no-crap
attitude, he intervenes in the lives of dropouts, gang-bangers, suicidal
teens and even younger kids who kill kids. Originally produced by
Weathervane Playhouse with support from The John A. MacAlonan Fund of The
Akron Community Foundation

Big [Box] is supported in part by the John P. Murphy Foundation

So here's an excellent reason to get out of the house this January. And the
best part is - IT'S CHEAP! All tickets to Big [BOX] are only $10!!

All Big [BOX] performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 and Sundays at
3:00
