*II. Major Duties*
=B7 Research, write and distribute media releases, program guides,
on-air promotional messages, brochures, advertising, invitations, web
content and other communications supporting the accurate and consistent
presentation of ideastream's vision, goals and objectives.**
=B7 Develop and monitor promotion and communication plans matching
communication resources with ideastream internal department needs and/or
corporate initiatives. Measure progress against program ratings, deadlines
and satisfaction of client requirements.**
=B7 Collaborate with internal and external creative resources to
conceive and deliver communications, in a variety of media, insuring messag=
e
quality, consistency and success of corporate communication initiatives.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding all aspects of
communications-related project development/project management.**
=B7 Support media relations activities through media contact activi=
ty
(pitching story ideas and other support), following-up media releases or
other communications.**
=B7 Plan community events and promotional activities including
development of partnerships with other organizations to achieve mutual
goals. As required, represent ideastream to community groups.**

*III. Qualifications*

* **KNOWLEDGE:** *
=B7 Demonstrated knowledge and practice of writing and editing
principals for effective promotions, advertising and media relations.
=B7 Ability to match copy and text to creative direction for ads an=

other graphics for various publications and media including program guides,
advertisements, television broadcast, web and interactive distribution.
=B7 Knowledge and experience in Corporate* *communications
environments andactivities (including internal, media and public relations)
strategies and tactics.
=B7 Expertise in use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoi=

*EXPERIENCE:** *
=B7 Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in
