Great Lakes Theater Festival Announces=20

Auditions For Touring Production

The Festival's production of George Bernard Shaw's play The Dark Lady of
the Sonnets=20

will tour to twenty neighborhoods throughout Northern Ohio.

            Great Lakes Theater Festival (GLTF) announces open
non-equity auditions for an outreach touring production of George
Bernard Shaw's play The Dark Lady of the Sonnets.  This production,
developed in support of the Festival's 2006-07 mainstage season, will
tour to twenty community venues across northern Ohio March 3-May 6,
2006, and will be directed by the GLTF's Associate Artistic Director,
Andrew May.

            Needed are two female actors (character ages, 20s-50s).
Rehearsals begin on Monday, February 20, 2006.  Actors auditioning
should note that the production features both daytime and evening
performances.  For a complete list of tour venues, dates and times,
please visit www.greatlakestheater.org/auditions.   All positions are
paid.

            Those auditioning should bring a headshot and resume and
prepare two contrasting monologues.  Total audition time should not
exceed four minutes.  Auditions will be held on Tuesday, January 17,
2006 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  The audition sessions will take
place within the Playhouse Square Center complex.  Specific location
information will be provided upon confirmation of the audition
appointment.=20
