"Some people paint, some sew......I meddle," replies Dolly and we're on a whirlwind race around New York and Yonkers at the turn of the century, as we follow the adventures of America's most beloved match maker, Mrs. Dolly Galagher Levi. The show is based on Thornton Wilder's <I>The Matchmaker</I> and concerns the exploits of the widowed title character, who intervenes in the romantic lives of others before finally being able to allow herself one as well.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=-1>The memorable songs in the show include, <I>Put on Your Sunday Clothes, Ribbons Down My Back, Motherhood, Before the Parade Passes By, It Only Takes a Moment, </I>and of course, <I>Hello, Dolly!</I></FONT></P>
