      FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
  January 9, 2006

TrueNorth Cultural Arts Center announces the Winter Concert of the TrueNorth
Symphony, directed by James Traxler. The concert, to be given on Friday, January 20 at
Bay Presbyterian Church in Bay Village, features a performance of the Bach Double
Violin Concerto by Isabel Trautwein and Kim Gomez of the Cleveland Orchestra. Kim
Gomez has been a First Violinist with the Cleveland Orchestra since 1990 and Isabel
Trautwein since 2002. Both Ms. Gomez and Ms. Trautwein donate their time and talent
  to many worthy causes.
  .
The program also includes performances by the TrueNorth Symphony of Pictures at an
Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky, Firework Music by G. F. Handel, and Elegy by
  contemporary American composer John Corigliano.

James Traxler, a Bay Village resident, is the director of the TrueNorth Symphony, a
volunteer orchestra dedicated to playing the great symphonic masters. There are not
many opportunities for serious musicians to play such works in the west suburban area,
said Mr. Traxler. The vision of TrueNorth is to provide that opportunity for both
amateur and professional musicians who love great music.

Most of the instrumentalists live in Avon Lake, Bay Village and surrounding
communities, but several come from Cleveland and from as far away as Stow and Warren
to play in the group. Nancy Daniel, another Bay Village resident, is the Concertmistress
  of the orchestra.

Admission to the 7:30 pm concert is free of charge. Bay Presbyterian Church is located
at Columbia and Lake Roads in Bay Village. A free-will offering will be taken to
support the TrueNorth Symphony and the other programs of TrueNorth Cultural Arts.
More information about all programs to promote the cultural arts can be found on their
  web site: www.TNCArts.org.
