The School of Dancing Wheels

The School of Dancing Wheels is located in the Cleveland Masonic and 
Performing Arts Center, on East 36th & Euclid, minutes away from Playhouse Square, 
Cleveland's magnificent theatre district.  The School of Dancing Wheels offers 
classes in two state-of-the-arts studios allowing intimate instruction as well 
as large classes. Dressing rooms, bathrooms, refreshment machines, parents' 
lounge area and guarded parking are all located on the premises.
Registration & Tuition
All students must complete registration forms every year and return to the 
office at the beginning of the academic year with a non-refundable registration 
fee of $10.00.  Tuition is $10 per class, $90 for 10 classes.  Other payment 
plans are available.  We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, cash and 
checks.
Dress Code
For all Modern Classes and Jazz/Hip-Hop:  black leotard and tights, black 
unitard for tight fitting black tank top and black jazz pants with bare feet.  
For all Ballet classes:  black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes.  For 
all classes hair must be pulled back and off of your face.  For Ballroom:  
any clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in.  
Attendance/Snow Policy
Students are required to attend all scheduled classes.  Any student who must 
miss a class due to illness must advise the office ahead of time.  Any student 
that is absent for classes may make up the class in class level below their 
class.  (Exception:  Advanced/Professional Classes are on a "drop-in" basis for 
noncompany members.  Please call 216.432.0306 the day before attending class 
to confirm the class.  Classes may be cancelled if the Dancing Wheels Company 
is on tour)  In the event of inclement weather, the schedule of classes will 
be at the discretion of the SDW  faculty.
Class Observation
In order for students to fully benefit from the instruction offered, it is 
important that they be focused in the classroom.  Therefore, class observation 
is permitted only during designated observation days.  At this time, parents, 
family and friends are welcome to view the class.  Additionally, students may 
audition for the Junior Company Dance to participate in the 25th Anniversary 
Performance.
Placement
Students will be evaluated during the first week of classes to assure proper 
placement.  Depending on the student's development, placement may be changed 
at any time.
 
Classes run September 12, 2005 -- May 6, 2006
Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 11:30 AM, Advanced/Professional Class, Instructors 
include Troy McCarty.  Ballet usually offered 2X a week, modern 3X a week.  
Remember to call 216.432.0306 the day before class to confirm the class.
