with a faculty recital by pianist Gerardo Teissonnière, who will present an
all-Mozart program on <B>Sunday, January 15 at 4:00 p.m.</B>, celebrating
the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth. </P>
<P class=enotecontent>The Midday Music student recital series resumes
<B>Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m.</B> beginning February 1. </P>

Wednesday, <B>February 1 at 8:00 p.m.</B> Guest conductor David Loebel,
music director and conductor of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, and pianist
Zsolt Bognár will join the Orchestra in works by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky,
and Mussogorsky/Ravel. The event, presented in honor of Jo-Ann Stores,
Inc., will be broadcast live on WCLV 104.9 FM, sponsored by Audio-Technica.

<P class=enotecontent>On Wednesday, <B>February 8 at 8:00 p.m.</B>, the
Orchestra will perform with conductor Carl Topilow and violinist Celeste
Golden. Works by Rossini, Dvořák, Ibert and Gershwin will be featured.
The concert will be presented in honor of Medical Mutual of Ohio. </P>
<P class=enotecontent>Both concerts are free of charge, but seating passes
will be distributed 30 minutes prior to the events. </P>
<P class=enoteheader>Attention: Former Students and Colleagues of Maurice
Sharp</P>
<P class=enotecontent>Several of Maurice Sharp's students are preparing a
memorial booklet to celebrate the career of Mr. Sharp, former principal
flute of The Cleveland Orchestra and professor of flute at CIM. This
publication, a project of Susan Waller, Robin Fellows and George Pope, will
include a biography, a list of recordings, a collection of warm-up and
technical studies, and comments from former students and colleagues of this
phenomenal performer and teacher. Please submit your remembrances and
impressions of your experience with Mr. Sharp by the deadline of <B>April
1, 2006</B>, to The Sharp Project, c/o George Pope, 518 Dorchester Rd.,

<P class=enoteheader>Audition Days</P>
<P class=enotecontent>CIM is gearing up to welcome more than 1,000
prospective students and their families to Cleveland. Audition Days are a
great boost to the city and to CIM, because we bring the finest talent from
around the world to northeast Ohio. Admission is very competitive –
candidates will audition for only 130 openings. Audition Days in 2006 will
take place: </B>Sunday, January 22; Sunday, January 29; Monday, January 30;
Sunday, February 5; Monday, February 6; Monday, February 13; and Sunday,
February 19</B>. Members of CIM's Women's Committee will serve
complimentary lunches to the students and their families. For more
