    Teresa Bosko Carlin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent Stat=
e
University in 1988.  Her work has been exhibited in galleries around the
country and locally.  She is the former owner of Studio Lulu, an interior
design store that was located in downtown Kent back in 1999.    She is also
responsible for the large scale sculptural relief that adorns the northeast
wall of Kent=B9s Historic Silk Mill located on River Street.

    Having received many accolades throughout her career, she felt compelle=
d
to =B3give something back=B2 to the community=B2.  She therefore decided to donat=
e
any money she earned from this exhibit to a local charity.

Proceeds from  art sales benefit Helping Hands.

   Helping Hands is an Akron based non-profit organization that has helped
more than 600 families in Northeast Ohio since it was founded in 2003.
Headed by Phyllis Byrd, this organization strives to assist families who
wish to be self sufficient but do not have the resources to do so.  Cancer
patients, displaced hurricaine survivors who have landed in the area, and
abused individuals are just a few of the types of people that Helping Hands
serves.
