YOU=92RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN OPENS AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS

	Solon Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the opening of =
=93You=92re A Good Man, Charlie Brown=94 on Friday, February 3 at 7:30 pm. =
 The production is directed by Jacqi Loewy (World Goes =91Round, Crimes of =
the Heart, Bad Dates), with musical direction by Karen Prasser.  Michael =
Larochelle is the set designer.

	The cast includes Ron Cuirle (Charlie Brown), Chanda Porter (Sally =
Brown), Bill Berry (Schroeder), Suzanne Davis (Lucy Van Pelt), Jason =
Simmons (Linus Van Pelt), and Joe Kenderes (Snoopy). =20

	This charming musical is about an average day in the life of =
Charlie Brown. From Valentine=92s Day to the baseball season, from wild =
optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends =
(both human and non-human). It=92s a single day with the Peanuts characters=
 we grew up with, we read about in the comics, and have grown to love over =
the years.=20

	Jacqi Loewy has created a unique production in that she cast the =
show with both adults and a junior cast of third and fourth graders.  The =
junior cast includes Brandon Klein (Charlie Brown), Taylor Parker (Sally =
Brown), Mark Oet (Schroeder), Marisa Apple (Lucy Van Pelt), Ethan =
Newburger (Linus Van Pelt), and Deji Aladesanmi (Snoopy).  These talented =
youngsters has been =91shadowing=92 their adult counterparts and learning =
the ropes of theater.  They will join the adult cast for the Sunday =
matinee performance on February 5 at 2:00 pm. =20

	Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $10 =
for groups of ten or more.  The show also runs on Saturday, February 4, =
and Friday and Saturday, February 10 and 11.  Curtain for these performance=
s is at 7:30 pm.   =20
