Midview High School Drama Club and Thespian Troupe #1674 will present “AN EVENING OF ACTS AND SNACKS” on Friday February 3 and Saturday February 4 at 7:30 PM in the Midview

High School APR. Attend both evenings and see two different shows! Show time both

nights is 7:30 and all tickets are $5.00 each. Ticket price includes a variety of

desserts and punch.

On Friday February 3, they will present “You're a good man, Charlie Brown”

An average day in the life of Charlie Brown (Blaine Boyd). It really is just that, a day

made up of little moments picked from all the days of Charlie Brown. He gets up and goes

to school. He eats his lunch on the school playground, complicated by the distant

presence of his true love, the "little redheaded girl," who is always just out of sight.

True love also seems to be the only unmanageable element in Lucy's (Kelly McCready)

life, which we discover as we watch her try to bulldoze her way through to her

boyfriend's sensitive, six-year-old musician's heart, in Schroeder (Kyle Branzel). The

little scenes then begin to accumulate, and we learn that Lucy's little brother, Linus

(Kuyer Fazekas), is thoughtful about many things but fanatical when it comes to the

matter of his blanket; that Sally (Caroline Decaire) is sweet and utterly innocent; and

that Charlie Brown's dog, Snoopy (Cory Igneczi), spends much if not most of his time on

his dog house. The days continues with baseball, supper and then it's night. It was

just another day in the life of Charlie Brown.

On Saturday February 4, they will present an interactive murder mystery “The Great High

School Who Dun' it” by Eileen Moushey

Midview High school becomes the fictional Dudley High. The reason for the assembly on

February 4, 2006 is to honor the Dudley Family, who've donated money to the school. The

student characters include: Rita (Katie Flanaghan), the cheerleader; Breeze (Rachel

Vena), the activist; and the troublemakers, Rusty (Jessica Boyd) and Reptile (Nick

Dolansky). Besides the principal, Mr. Richmond (Nick Pulito), the Dudley staff is

represented by: Rooper (Megan Henry), dedicated Coach (Matt Smith), Becky (Chloe

Bailey), and Mr. Trumbull (Mikel Petty), Of course, there's the Dudley's themselves:

Daphne (Jessica Kcral), Mr. Dudley (Kyle Gustafson), and Mrs. Dudley (Jennifer

Loudermelt), who does for motherhood what detentions do for student morale. Add an FBI

agent (Josh Lacock) -- ready to conduct the investigation, and a second stranger (Amanda

Fildes), also claiming to be an agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The

audience must unmask the murderer and jewel thief's accomplice and discover the location

of the stolen ring.
