>From February 4 through February 28, 2006 Gallery 324 at the Galleria 
will present The Black History Celebration Art Show curated by Walter 
Allen Rogers, Jr. The theme is "The Celebration Continues".

The show will be held in the gallery between the "Beyond the Printed 
Page Show", the on-going show of the Great Lakes Publishing Staff 
Artists, and Gallery 324, hosting the Bruce Conforti one-man show 
"recentworks", on the East Palm Court at the 12th street end of the 
Galleria. Parking is FREE on Saturdays in the underground, heated 
garage of the Galleria.

The works in the show will embrace that art is a life-time adventure 
which artists pursue across various media and in a wide variety of 
physical spaces. 

The event schedule for the show is:

February 4 - Opening of the Celebration - 10 am - 4 pm
Music, oldies but goodies
Recognition of all artists involved and 
Unveiling of the Poster for the Show
Light refreshments

February 11 - Art Demonstration Day 10 am - 4 pm
Talks and art demonstrations by the artists 
In the East Palm Court
In the Show Room

February 18 - Fun Day 10 am - 4 pm
Storytelling, face-painting, music,talks and lectures, 
demonstrations by the artists

February 25 - Blacks in Outer Space 10 am - 4 pm
Jeff Ivey conference on blacks in the space program, 
panel discussion from 1-2 pm, slide presentation, 
Music, band, singers.

Also on February 25 will be the 2006 Cultural Fest Fashion Show, at 
5:30 pm, Center Court, by Freda at Nzuri, $30 at the door for the 
Fashion Show Only
