Hi folks. Wanted to give you an update about what happened in Park City last week. As most of you may recall Scott and I were able to pull off the impossible - We did what's rarely done - we went to Sundance like thousands of other filmmakers.. on a whim and a prayer, and were able to pull off a screening in one of the smaller coinciding festivals. Yes, it can be done - if you network and talk your ass off people will be helpful. I want to give a huge shout-out to Leslie at The Park City Film and Music Festival for helping us accomplish this feat.

Now, I'll be honest - the night of the screening I left depressed. We had only 23 hours to get the word out on the street, and because of this the screening was only half-full. Maybe that was in part because we screened right next door to the Side Car, and by Thursday night more people were interested in drinking than watching another movie... what ever the case.. Marisa had left for home the day before and I wasn't happy. There was something inherently disheartening about having a screening missing our third-amigo... to make things worse on the Bus ride down the hill after the screening I had to triple take a young lady who was walking past Starbucks... she had the same haircut, the same style and grace, the same heigth, the same build, the same demanor and the same taste in textile as our missing compadre :(. Needless to say I went home and slept. But the next day we got word that several companies were interested in International Television rights, and while the smoke still hasn't cleared... things are definately on an upswing.

Anyhow, I also wanted to mention this review that we recieved earlier today http://roguecinema.com/article-479--0-0.html

Okay, enough rambling... I have work to do and a move to LA to plan.

peace,
e
