Cleveland IndieClub FREE Monthly Networking Meeting - February 19, 2006 
 
The Cleveland IndieClub meets every month, free of charge, for those who
have the passion for making movies using film or video (whether it is in
acting, directing, producing, writing, lighting or any other skill) and
are looking for others who have similar interests. 
 
Cleveland IndieClub is administrated by Johnny K. Wu and generally
hosted each month by their members, which offers each an opportunity to
create a variety of interest and topic. Cleveland IndieClub official

NOTE: Every months we have had a standing room only of over 60 people
participating, come early to get a seat. :)

Guest speaker: Arthur Byrd Jr., Youngstown, Ohio
 
Topic: Finding a crew or working by yourself and still making it work
 
Arthur Byrd Lives in Youngstown, Ohio, he has been involved in
filmmaking since 1998. Currently a Photojournalist at WFMJ-TV,
YOUNGSTOWN and a Director for WFMJ-TV's program Dynamics in Black. He
was the Chairman for Flick Clique, a local film group that brought
independent films to the Youngstown area. Art's films has been screened
on many film festival. His last film, "Eyes Wide Open" was recently
shown at the 2005 Ohio Independent Film Festival in Cleveland, Ohio.
"EYES WIDE OPEN" is a documentary short film about the 2004 Memorial Day
visit of the BOOTS of U.S SOLIDERS killed in the Iraq confict at the
Nathaniel R. Jones Federal Building and U.S Courthouse in Youngstown,
Ohio. Byrd is currently editing his first drama called "Emotional
Reload." It depicts on two detectives takes on gun runners after a
mother and daughter are killed by one of their guns. 
 
In addition, Cleveland IndieClub will screen and discusss short films,
scenes, and trailers from:

bring it to the meeting to have it raffled off to the participants. We
have monthly attendees of around 60 people, if you have short films (no
longer than 30 mins) that you would like to present and talk about it
