NY playwrights James Hindman and Ray Roderick will be attending  
performances of the world premiere of COMING TO AMERICA at Kalliope  
Stage this week. Limited seats are available for both the Wednesday  
and Thursday performances with authors in attendance. Most every  
performance of the show has sold out, but I wanted to provide advance  
notice to the NEOHIPAL list of this special opportunity. We are  
hoping to organize a talk-back session with the authors, but nothing  
is set in stone yet.

COMING TO AMERICA is a new musical comedy done in a vaudeville-style,  
and it's a high-profile event for Kalliope and for Cleveland. Local  
performer Kim Koljat joins four New York performers, and they knock  
themselves out playing dozens of comedic characters and singing 61  
songs. It's a standout bunch of composers (George Gershwin, Jerome  
Kern, Irving Berlin, Victor Herbert, George M Cohan,) and the  
arrangements are by PHIL RENO, the conductor/music director of  
Broadway's THE PRODUCERS, CATS, etc.
