Off-Broadway's longest running musical is coming to the main stage at
Chagrin Valley Little Theatre shining the sometimes harsh light of
comedy on the realities of dating, love, sex and marriage, celebrating
the 'suburban mating game' through vignette scenes with original songs.
The cast consists of just four players, who handle the over 60
characters from children to senior citizens. The production brings
together talents from all corners of the 'North Coast'. From the East
side, Andrew Rothman, a web designer from South Euclid who works for a
software company in Willoughby. From the South, Tonya S. Duus of
Brecksville, a coordinator for an Akron advertising firm. Representing
the West side, Officer David Kammerman of the Berea Police Department
and Pickwick & Frolic's 'Midnight Martini Show' showgirl Betsy Kahl (who
graced the cover of Cleveland Magazine's February issue). The production
is headed up by Chagrin's veteran director Don Edelman, with musical
direction by Cleveland Opera pianist Chérie Reneé Roe.
Laugh your way through the touching and hilarious tribulations of clumsy
dating, bedroom failures, chick flick meltdowns, overbearing parents,
horrid bridesmaids dresses, and finding love after 50. Don't miss out on
this rollicking musical romp through male-female relations!
Group sale discounts are available.
Call (440) 247-8955 to reserve now! Mon-Sat 1-6 PM
May not be appropriate for audiences under 16 due to language and

»» "MATCH" «« (the Northeast Ohio Premiere)
by Stephen Belber
March 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th at 8:00 pm
at the Riverstreet Playhouse, next door to C.V.L.T. (56 River St)
Tickets: $8
In Stephen Belber's Match, Mike and Lisa Davis arrive at the apartment
of Tobi Powell, who lives alone in Innwood, on the northern tip of
Manhattan. They are there to interview him about his life as a dancer
and choreographer, but it is soon evident that their agenda is as
multi-layered as the life story that Tobi tells them. What happens next
will either ruin or inspire them - and definitely changes all of their
lives forever.
"Uproariously funny, deeply moving, enthralling theatre. Stephen
Belber's Match has great beauty and tenderness and abounds in wit" - NY
