ACTING FUNDAMENTALS
These courses provide the basic techniques of theatre acting. Classroom
exercises focus on the student developing his/her own viable acting
technique by their involvement in acting exercises. These include, but
are not limited to improvisation, theatre games, pantomime, character
development, vocal projection and enunciation. The goal is to strengthen
confidence both onstage and in daily life.

Make it up as you go along, using improvisation formats that encourage
scene creation and teamwork, while focusing on improv fundamentals. You
will learn how to go with your impulses, instincts, and imagination
while creating scenes and characters that express a wide range of
emotions.

STAGE MAKEUP TECHNIQUE (ages 14-Adult) 
This class studies makeup practice and technique. Areas of exploration
include basic stage makeup, aging, kabuki/mime, character, and special
effects. All materials for the class will be provided, but students are
asked to bring their own liquid base makeup and a black eye liner
pencil.

5 Week Course
Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:30 PM. ($95) (supplies included)
TECHNICAL THEATRE DESIGN (ages 16-Adult) 
An introduction to technical theatre. Topics will include carpentry,
scenic painting, lighting, and stage managing. The course also involves
the study and execution of stage scenery, its design, planning,
construction and shifting. Students are given practical experience in
each area of production. This course involves the study of stage
lighting with emphasis on equipment, control, color and their
relationship to design. There's an introduction to scenic artist
techniques as they apply to the painting of scenery for the performing
arts. The course will include use of brush, roller, texturing, wood
graining, and other techniques. All supplies are included in the course
fee.

SCENE STUDY  (ages 12-Adult)
This is a group participation class, so come ready to work and learn.
The class will involve auditioning, monologue and scene work.
Shakespeare and more contemporary works will be utilized.  All work will
be followed  by class discussion.

STAGE MANAGER TRAINING WORKSHOP (ages 16-Adult) 
Learn what it takes to be a stage manager. You will learn organizational
