MLS Theatre Company of Amherst Steele High School has succeeded in=20
something never attempted before in the history of the school:
Their one act play, "Romeo and Juliet Directed by Quince", has been=20
given the great honor to perform at the International Thespian Festival=20=

this June at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln;=A0
of all the plays performed during the State Conference this past=20
weekend, their play was the only one selected by the State Board to=20
represent the state of Ohio!!!!!

Congratulations to the cast and crew: John Karaplis, Corey Knick,=20
Kaylin Major, Justin Howell, Amber Lewandowski, Megan Miller, Alexis=20
Dick, Anthony Karhusz, and Emily Brumenshenkel.

Bravo to director and Drama Sponsor, Valerie Farschman, and playwright,=20=

Larry Nehring, Artistic Director of the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival.

The group is attempting to raise the $10,000 necessary to attend the=20
conference, and would greatly appreciate any help.=A0(These students=20
already had to pay a $400 =93pay-to-play=94 fee to participate in =
theatre=20
at the school this year, so conference expenses will be hard for their=20=

families to manage alone.)
