The Broadview Heights Spotlights Community Theater is seeking actors to fill the mens' roles in their upcoming production of "THE NERD."

Available roles:

RICK STEADMAN: The nerd.  A bumbling oaf with absolutely no social sense, this character brings much of the show's over-the-top comedy to life!

WILLUM CUBBERT: The underdog.  Willum is an all-around good guy, but not without fault.  Things are looking down for him: his girlfriend is leaving town, his boss is demanding... and then there's Rick's sudden presence in his life.

AXEL HAMMOND: The sarcastic side kick. Axel is one of Willum's closest friends.  He has never done -- and will never do -- an anonymous favor for anyone... or will he?

WARNOCK WALDGRAVE:  The boss.  Waldgrave is very rough around the edges, tough, and outspoken.  He has little to no sense of humor when it comes to the rest of the characters' antics.

Rick, Willum, and Axel are approximately the same age (30s); Waldgrave may be 30s-50s.

Production dates: Fridays and Saturdays, March 5-20 at 8PM with one Sunday Matinee, March 21 at 3PM

All performances will be held at the Broadview Heights Spotlights Cultural Arts Building, 9543 Broadview Road (1/2 mile South of Route 82).
