The Mystery Of Edwin Drood

Tickets are now on sale for Lake Catholic's Spring Musical. Based on an unfinished Charles Dickens novel, the audience plays its part by helping to solve the Mystery of Edwin Drood.

Drood is a rousing, hilarious, heart-wrenching show with wonderful music, lyrics and lines by Rupert Holmes. Led by the Chairman, the cast play actors who take us through the story by assuming characters in the plot. The problem they face, however, is due to Mr Dickens’ rather untimely demise, leaving them without an ending and no resolution to the mystery they have presented. Thankfully, and despite Queen Victoria, British democracy prevails and the audience is given the opportunity to choose how to end the show. Incidentally, there are six endings and six shows, so if you want to see all the possibilities…

Shows are at Lake Catholic High School, Friday March 31st (7.30pm), April 1 (7.30pm), 2 (6.30pm), 7 (7.30pm), 8 (7.30pm) & 9 (6.30pm). Advanced tickets are $10, $8 & $5. Door prices are $10 & $5 (no discounts at the door) For more information please call 440-951-0077 x253 or visit www.lakecatholic.org and click Parents/Fine Arts/Theatre. We look forward to seeing you at the show!
