Actors=E2=80=99 Summit  Presents=20
William  Shakespeare=E2=80=99s=20

A Midsummer Night=E2=80=99s  Dream  =20

Actors=E2=80=99 Summit Theater announces the opening of A Midsummer Night=
=E2=80=99s Dream,=20
the classic Shakespearean comedy about love and magic. The play will have a=
=20
preview performance on Thursday, March 23, and will play through April 9 at=
=20
Actors=E2=80=99 Summit Theater in downtown Hudson.=20
The  Play =20
Three worlds collide in the forest outside of Athens in this most romantic=20
and fanciful of Shakespeare=E2=80=99s plays. The first world is that of the=
 court of=20
Duke Theseus. In this world Lysander loves Hermia, and Hermia loves Lysande=
r.=20
Helena loves Demetrius; Demetrius used to love Helena but now loves Hermia.=
=20
Egeus, Hermia's father, prefers Demetrius as a suitor. Hermia chooses to=20
escape with Lysander into the surrounding forest.=20
In the second world Oberon and Titania, King and Queen of Fairies, are=20
locked in a dispute. To punish Titania, Oberon uses a love potion that caus=
es=20
Titania to fall in love with the first creature she sees upon awakening. =20
The third world is that of the blue collar workers of Athens who are puttin=
g=20
on a play to celebrate the Duke=E2=80=99s marriage to his new queen.=20
Once in the forest, the love potion is used on the wrong lovers from the=20
court. Puck, Oberon=E2=80=99s servant sprite, puts on Donkey=E2=80=99s head=
 on the chief of the=20
amateur actors and Titania wakes up just in time to fall in love with him.=20=
 =20

s=20
with weddings,  blessings and music.=20
