Local actor and Kent State BFA Musical Theatre graduate Adam Kern has  been 
accepted to continue his education at Harvard University's American  Repertory 
Theatre / Moscow Art Theatre (MXAT); program established in  1987.

Upon graduation,  students receive a Certificate of Achievement from the 
A.R.T. at Harvard  University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the MXAT 
School. The MXAT  School is fully accredited by the Education Department of the 
Russian Ministry  of Culture. 

The two-year  Institute curriculum combines study in Cambridge, Massachusetts 
with a  three-month residency at the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia.  
Students  participate six days a week in formal classes, rehearsals, and special 
projects  morning, afternoon and evening. Recently, Institute students have 
toured their  productions throughout Europe, performing in Russia, Italy, 
Germany, and  Switzerland. 

Tuition runs at  $49,000 plus the cost of housing, board and health care, 
ending in about 80,000  at the end of the program; with little scholarship 
opportunities. So if you're a  rich widow and would like Adam to do some yard work,
