Local musicians Amy King (violin) and Bryan Bird (piano) will be
sharing their talents WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. in a
Lenten-themed program called "Hosanna!"

Much of the program consists of choral and piano arrangements they
have adapted for violin and piano, including the title song based on
the hymn "Hosanna, Loud Hosanna." Amy and Bryan have put together
about 50 minutes' worth of upbeat, reflective, majestic, and fun
music focusing on Palm Sunday, Holy Week, and Easter.

The concert will take place at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 9715
East River Road in Elyria. Admission is free and open to the public,
and a free-will offering will be collected to benefit the church's
music fund.

Amy is an Oberlin-trained violinist and, aside from numerous other
gigs, has performed with the Black River String Quartet and Lorain
County Community College Civic Orchestra. Bryan is a veteran of
community theatre pit orchestras and church music programs in Lorain
and Cuyahoga Counties. Both attend St. Paul UCC in Elyria and hope
you will join them in this musical tribute to the season of Lent.
