My name is Scott Burke.  I am a Program Manager with Cuyahoga Community
College in the Office of Community and Continuing Education.  We are
initiating a program this summer at our eastern campus entitled Tri-C
for Kids.  The program is a summer camp format for 1-3 and 4-7 grade
students, meeting Monday through Thursday for three consecutive weeks in
June.  The courses range from the more traditional such as "Reading
Skills Round-Up" to unique and entertaining such as Legomania and Yucky
Science.

Our goal is to recruit qualified and enthusiastic instructors from our
local school districts to provide instruction for these programs.  At
this point we are matching up instructors to courses and we are also
evaluating courses brought forward by some of the instructors.  It has
been a very exciting process and based on our current results we are
expecting the program to be a huge success.  We believe that utilizing
local teachers creates a win / win situation for everyone involved and
that is why we are contacting you.=20
