Church
Living Fountain Dance Company, a Canton-based 501(c)3 arts organization,
will host the Ad Deum Dance Company of Houston, Texas on April 28th and
29th.
Ad Deum is a contemporary dance and physical theatre; "a visual fusion
of moving image and dramatic presentation."
On Friday, April 28th at 7pm, LFDC and Ad Deum present Refreshing! , a
concert collaboration of both companies, that brings works of
restoration and healing to those affected by recent U.S. disasters, at
Canton First Christian Church on Cleveland Avenue N.W. Advance tickets
are $10; $12 at the door. Groups of 15 or more will pay only $8 per
ticket for advance ticket sales, or $10 each at the door. First
Christian Church is located at 2600 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton, OH
44709 (near Routes 62 and 77).
On Saturday, April 29th from 8:30am to 2:30pm at Canton First Christian
Church, Ad Deum Dance Company will present a Dance Seminar. Dancers,
ages 12 and up, with all levels of experience are welcome. Cost is $30
per person. Financial Assistance is available.
Later on Saturday, April 29th at 7pm, Ad Deum Dance Company director
Randall Flinn will present a free lecture demonstration, offering the
audience an in-depth perspective on the power of post-modern artwork.
Senior and associate pastors are encouraged to attend to learn about
effective arts outreach and in-reach ministries. First Friends Church
is located at 5545 Market Avenue North, Canton, at the corner of 55th
Street.
