Hello fellow artists,
=20
In case you didn't catch this in the news, popular singer, pit musician,
and music teacher Shawn Colvenbach was killed in a really tragic car
crash on I-90 yesterday. Aside from having one of the most beautiful
baritone voice with whom I have ever had the opportunity to sing, Shawn
was a fine woodwind player/saxophonist, member of the big band
Sophisticated Swing, and beloved music teacher at Central Middle School
and Upson Elementary School in the Euclid City Schools. I was lucky
enough to solo at his wedding, and sing duets with him to his bride.

=20
According to Euclid Superintendent Joffrey Jones said Colvenbach brought
music to life for his students. "And when you saw him in performances
with those kids, you could tell they loved him and he loved what he was
doing and we're really going to miss him," Jones said.

Shawn leaves behind a very young family and beautiful wife Debbie. A
trust fund has been set up:
    Colvenbach Trust Fund
    Dollar Bank
    P.O. Box 23053
    Euclid, OH 44123

The music of the world suffers from our loss of him. In loving memory,
and mourning the loss of a great talent and a great person,=20
