The Players Guild Theatre of Canton announces a second round of
auditions for its upcoming production of "Forever Plaid" to be directed
and musical directed by JT Buck.

Auditions are set for Sunday, April 9 at 6pm.

Men ages 16 to adult are encouraged to audition.  Only 4 men will be
cast in this production.

Please prepare a cutting 16 measures in length from the 50's and 60's
era. It can be from musical theatre, but popular songs from that era are
requested. The cutting should showcase your vocal range and ability as
well as your personality. If possible, please prepare a second,
contrasting selection. 

The show runs on the Players Guild Mainstage, May 19-June 4 with
performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2:30pm. 

One of the most popular and successful musicals in recent memory, this
deliciously goofy revue centers on four young, eager male singers killed
in a car crash in the 1950s on the way to their first big concert, and
now miraculously revived for the posthumous chance to fulfill their
dreams and perform the show that never was. 

Singing in the closest of harmony, squabbling boyishly over the smallest
intonations and executing their charmingly outlandish choreography with
over-zealous precision, the "Plaids" are a smash, with a program of
beloved songs and delightful patter that keeps audiences rolling in the
aisles when they're not humming along to some of the great nostalgic pop
hits of the '50s.
