Mark your calendars now so you don't miss this rarely performed Kander &
Ebb musical comedy "70, Girls, 70!" offered by the Aurora Community
Theatre.  Opening night is Friday, April 28, complete with free champagne
and hors d'oeuvres party afterwards.  Performances are every Friday and
Saturday night at 8:00 pm from April 28 to May 20th. Tickets are $15 and
may be reserved by calling the Box Office at 330-562-1818. There's also a
Sunday Matinee at 3:00 pm on May 7th at the reduced ticket price of $12.
The "70" does not refer to a bevy of glitzy showgirls but to the average
age of a bevy of glitzy senior citizens who celebrate life with a series of
hilarious escapades.  Featured in the cast are veteran actors Phyllis
Grumney, Karen Haus, Hester Lewellen, Wini Kovacik and pianist, Evie Morris
-- just to name a few.  Director, David Vosburgh, and Choreographer, Laurel
Hart, have done a wonderful job bringing life to a wonderful story with
catchy tunes and funny situations about age and romance.  The whole family
will love this show!
