1) "/A BAD YEAR FOR TOMATOES/" - John Patrick's comedic farce opens
APRIL 28th*

Fridays & Saturdays April 28th - May 20th at 8:00 pm
Tickets $14 adults, $10 under 18/over 60.
Group sales and subscriptions available.

In this uproarious comedic farce by John Patrick, the former TV star
Myra Marlowe attempts to retire alone to secluded Beaver Haven and write
her autobiography. While Myra is able to keep her long-time agent at
bay, the small town's persistent, nosy gossips are another matter.

To thwart the prying eyes of the locals, Myra draws on her acting skills
to invent "Sadie", a homicidally insane sister who escapes from her
upstairs room just long enough to scare away the locals. It seems to
work, until the imaginary sibling attracts the attentions not only of
the local ladies who wish to save 'Sadie's demented soul, but also of
Piney, the village handyman, who has love on his mind.

How will Myra untangle the mess she's gotten herself into? The answer
leads to suspicions of murder, and some very serious laughs!
