Ruby Dee & Karamu Alum Bill Cobbs set for Saint Lucy's Eyes/College Student
Day

Karamu alum Bill Cobbs will join celebrated stage and screen actress Ruby
Dee, Toks Olagundoye and Karamu House actress Lisa Langford on the Drury
stage Monday, May 8 for a staged reading of Cleveland native Bridgette
Wimberly's Saint Lucy's Eyes at 7:30PM, Karamu House Artistic Director
Terrence Spivey will direct. Tickets to this fundraiser benefiting both
Karamu House and The Play House are on sale at The Cleveland Play House
Ticket office. Tickets for the reading are $50.00. Tickets to the reading
plus entry to a special post-reception in The Play House Club are $100.

and up) and pay the same ticket price and meet theatre/film legends actress
Ruby Dee and Karamu alum Bill Cobbs. There will be an up close interview
with both legends on the Jelliffe stage at 6:30PM, following the matinee of
Derek Walcott's Dream on Monkey Mountain.
