Cirque du Soil - The Mud Circus is seeking performers for its 2006 =
season at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire.

Cirque du Soil is a comedy troupe of "dirty beggars" performing =
outrageous shows in and around a giant pit of mud.  These "Mud Shows" =
are very physical and draw huge crowds of people eager to watch the =
antics of these crazy beggars.  Shows have included such classics as =
"Aeslops Fables", "The Three Mudsketeers", "Muckbeth", "The Muddy Wives =
of Windsor" and others.

Although the shows are very dirty and physically demanding, they are =
also very rewarding.  There is a great deal of freedom for the performer =
to simply play and have fun.  It's a bit like stepping back into your =
childhood when you spent rainy summer afternoons frolicking in =
mudpuddles.

Show dates are Saturdays and Sundays from July 8th thru August 13th. =
Rehearsals will begin in mid June.

These are well paid positions with the added incentive of "hat Pass" =
following each performance.
