Thank you for your questions. Just for clarification...
Yes, it is a Non-Equity Musical at the 14th Street Theater in Playhouse Square.
You do not have to be Equity to audition.
We will consider a Guest Artist Agreement for those who are AEA, but this option is limited on the initial 6 Week run. All actors will be paid a modest stipend.
I still have appointments available for audition times or feel free to come by at the open times listed below. Appointments will have priority. Call Maureen Dempsey to schedule your time at 440-313-8326.

May 2nd and 4th from 6:30 to 10:30pm
Location:
Stage Door behind the State Theater at 1650 Chester Ave. This is the building next to the Hermit Club and the Playhouse Square Parking Garage. There is a Blue sign near the door that says "Stage Door" enter here and the security guard will tell you where to go to audition.
Callbacks will be on Saturday from 11am to 3pm.
This is a mature show. There are no roles for kids.

Roaring 20s Gay Musical!
This offbeat original musical takes place in a Chicago Prohibition Era Speakeasy, and focuses on the timeless theme of two boys in love. They dance, sing and kiss - while fighting all the obstacles that keep them apart , including a stock market crash, a gaggle of gangsters, bootleg alcohol and the closet.

All characters must be able to sing and dance except Old Oscar and Old Chloe.
OSCAR: 21, Gay. Blonde, basically a sweet kid, wants to leave his small town life and move on. Very good-looking and this helps his career move up. And with success, he becomes a little cocky. Sides BENNY: 21ish, Gay. Oscar's boyfriend. Definitely the boy next door. And content with his life. Must Tap Sides CHLOE: 20's. Straight. The dilettante who is enamored with Oscar. She is quite bubbly and persuasive. Sides. AMANDA: Drag Queen. The star of her own speakeasy. She is over the top. She has probably seen every silent movie ever made. Sides ROSCOE: 50s. Amanda's Lover. Very wealthy and distinguished. Pampers her. The Flo Ziegfeld of the male burlesque scene. Sides MEATHOOK:3 0ish. Straight. Amanda's brother, and bouncer at the speakeasy. A bruiser of a man but his gruff exterior masks a gentle heart. Sides CRAIG, TONY, STEVEN, DAVID:20s-30ish. GAY. The cocktail crew. Spoiled, rich and rotten. Definitely on the
A-list. Never worked a day in their lives. These roles are doubled with the "Bearcat Boys" They are the barbershop quartet singers . Very dapper. Sides OLD OSCAR: Must be able to look 90ish. Does not sing. The old version of young Oscar. Still stylish, very genial. Sides OLD CHLOE: Must be able to look90ish. Does not sing The old version of Chloe. Much wiser, more feisty, definitely more outspoken. Sides MR. HEMINGWAY: 40's. The villain of the piece if there was one. A 1920's version of a leather daddy, sans leather. Very butch looking. Sides
