One answer is certain:
 not seeing the underhanded tactics,
the devilish wit and plot twists
 would be a deadly mistake.
Hudson Players present Deathtrap

Writer's block. Sitting in front of a keyboard, a typewriter, a yellow =
legal pad that mockingly stares back, while waiting for that surge of =
creativity, that tidal wave of award-winning words and timeless =
characters. The only thing worse is the knowledge that someone else has =
found a cure for his own block. Sometimes the only things that can =
absolve that jealousy are devious plotting and crafty, cold-hearted =
murder.=20
Deathtrap, written by Ira Levin and directed by Kate Tonti, explores =
just such a nasty and sinisterly humorous look into the life of =
once-upon-a-time golden boy/ has-been playwright Sidney Bruhl (Jerry =
Schaber) and his struggle with a flaccid imagination.=20

Bruhl is a bitter playwright with a history of flopping, floundering =
plays. While attempting to create a new masterpiece for the stage, he is =
sent a play, a thriller, by a drooling admirer, Clifford Anderson =
(Darren Freetage). Immediately envisioning the potential earnings and =
luxury automobiles that Clifford's brilliant play could bring him, =
Sidney decides to murder the imp, steal his play and make millions, much =
to the horror of his weak-hearted wife, Myra (Sue Cohen).=20

Will Sidney go through with his vicious plan? Will Clifford be the =
victim of unadulterated, malicious jealousy? Will Myra be able to =
withstand the horror saturating her household? Will the eccentric, =
psychic, neighbor, Helga (Kathy Devus) unearth the nastiness brewing =
chez Bruhl? Will anyone make a fortune off of Clifford's brainchild?

One answer is certain: not seeing the underhanded tactics, devilish wit =
and plot twists would be a deadly mistake.=20
